Come and see usWhy parents choose us
A settling-in built around three visits rather than one, a peg and bag with your child's name and picture from day one, warm meals through the day, and a nursery open 51 weeks of the year when family life doesn't stop for term time.
Montessori education gives children real choice within a carefully prepared environment: hands-on materials, mixed-age rooms, and a teacher who guides rather than instructs. It's an approach built around independence and self-motivation, letting each child build the skills and confidence to become their own best teacher.
Our beautiful outdoor area is designed to give a good deal of physical activity, role play, creativity and imaginative play.
We recognise parents as a child's first and most influential teacher and as such ensure we do work in partnership with parents on all aspects of caring for your child.
Our 10-day calm start gives every child a structured, gentle transition into nursery life.
What makes us differentIn Tulips, babies and toddlers explore natural materials like cotton, wool and wood at their own pace. By Oakleys, preschoolers work independently with Montessori materials such as sandpaper letters and spindle boxes, ready for their next stage.

Things parents ask us
Our teachers, known as directresses, act as guides rather than instructors. They observe carefully and step back, letting a child return to the same piece of Montessori equipment for as long as they need rather than moving them on to the next task. That same unhurried, child-led approach shapes everything from our settling-in sessions to daily routines.
We have three settings: Higham Hill in Walthamstow, Northolt, and Stockwell. Northolt is based in a former school house in a quiet residential area, and Stockwell occupies a large church hall, while Higham Hill is a small, intimate setting with its own outdoor play space. Take a look to see which is closest to you.
We welcome children from 6 months to 5 years old, moving from our Tulips baby and toddler rooms through to Acorns and then Oakleys, our preschool room. Each move happens when a child is ready for it, supporting them all the way through to school readiness.
We'd encourage you to visit before registering so you can see the rooms, meet the team and get a feel for whether we're the right fit for your family. You can get in touch by phone or email to arrange a tour at your chosen setting, and virtual visits can be arranged too.
Availability varies by setting, age group and room, so the best way to find out is to get in touch or book a visit. We'll let you know what spaces we currently have and talk you through anything coming up.
Yes. Every 3 and 4 year old is entitled to 15 universal hours a week from the term after their third birthday, regardless of whether their parents are working. Working parents may also be entitled to 30 hours a week in total (for 3 and 4 year olds, and separately from 9 months old), provided each parent earns at least the equivalent of 16 hours a week at minimum wage and neither earns over £100,000 a year individually. Our Nursery Manager is happy to talk you through eligibility and help with the application.
Fees depend on the setting, the sessions you choose and how any funded hours are used alongside them. Please get in touch with your nearest nursery directly and our team will talk you through pricing and current availability.
All three of our settings are Ofsted registered. Please check each nursery's individual Ofsted report for its current rating, or ask us directly and we'll point you to the details.
